Car Time at Orinda Motors is a local cable television that show airs on KCRT TV Cable Channel 28. Hybrid vehicles were the subject of the latest show taped at Orinda Motors on Saturday. John, Vince and Greg were at it again bringing their natural format to the motoring public. The purpose of this episode was to educate viewers about hybrid vehicles. Some explanation of how hybrids work was explained. Actual hybrid owners were interviewed and we got a chance to take a Toyota Prius for a ride. It was fun
watching the energy display on dashboard indicate exactly how the vehicle was being powered as we drove. We then opened the hood of the hi-tech Toyota and discussed some of the technical features that allow the hybrid to achieve such amazing fuel mileage. We also did a comparison of a few different hybrid vehicles and discussing the values of these vehicles offer. We wrapped it up with discussion of alternate fuels and alternate energy vehicles that may be offered in the future. Stay tune for the Hybrid Episode coming soon.
